Yes - you can let your social worker know your preferences based on what level of care you can provide, any existing children you might have, or other factors. For example, if you’re a religious family with a 12 year old son and a 9 year old daughter, you might feel that you can provide the best experience for a foster child who is a similar age, and shares your religion.
