Would you like to help make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people in Rotherham?

Our team here is made up of experienced advisers, incredible social workers and experienced foster carers who all inspire people to become carers themselves.

We are looking for an authentic and confident communicator to support the recruitment of new foster carers in Rotherham. You will be contacting new enquiries and people that have expressed interest or requests for information about fostering. You will also provide detailed information about life as a foster carer including finances, support and training offered as well as the enormous difference foster carers make to the lives of local looked after children. Experience in fostering, social care or care related industries is desirable. However, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has a friendly ‘can do’ attitude and lives in the Rotherham Metropolitan District (i.e. has a Rotherham postcode).

This role is within the team at Brightsparks Agency. Brightsparks is a marketing and comms agency who works closely with us and supports the Fostering Rotherham team. This role would require working in Rotherham, with occasional visits to the Brightsparks office in York city centre.
