How will fostering affect my own children?

Choosing to welcome a foster child into your home is a decision that needs to involve your whole family. Many of our Rotherham foster carers have said that their own children have loved being part of a foster family, and were excited to get involved. Carers who have grown-up children have also said that having a network of support from their children and family has been amazing, and foster children have settled in more easily when they have met other family members too.
